Vegetanuary – a vegetarian version of ‘Veganuary’ – is a Facebook group that promotes plant based meals through the sharing of recipes and articles, to encourage all members of the group to eat more plant based meals. Vegetanuary occurs mainly in the month of January although posts can be made throughout the year, and it did become quite active during the first lockdown in 2020. We’ve also had live cooking sessions on Zoom for specific meals and run a Green drinks session sharing people’s food stories. Vegetanuary is not just for vegetarians or vegan, but for anyone who is looking for inspiration to cook more vegetarian and vegan meals.
